  1. stick to one feature enhancement per idea

Agent conversation traces/logs API

Teams need a way to programmatically access and analyze agent conversations and traces through an API. Having visibility into user interactions—such as message volume, request sources, responding agents, reasoning details, confidence levels, and user feedback—would help teams monitor performance, identify improvement areas, and enhance the accuracy and relevance of chat responses across different channels.

    The capability was shipped to all AWS + IBM Cloud regions (pending US-south). Here are the API docs for how to access the traces API

    This is in development -- we are working to expose traces via APIs. We are also working to introduce governance features like # of messages, user feedback, answer quality, etc. for both draft and live agents (during testing and production).
