Shape the future of IBM watsonx Orchestrate

Start by searching and reviewing ideas others have posted, and add a comment (private if needed), vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you.

If you can't find what you are looking for, create a new idea:

  1. stick to one feature enhancement per idea

  2. add as much detail as possible, including use-case, examples & screenshots (put anything confidential in Hidden details field or a private comment)

  3. Explain business impact and timeline of project being affected

[For IBMers] Add customer/project name, details & timeline in Hidden details field or a private comment (only visible to you and the IBM product team).

This all helps to scope and prioritize your idea among many other good ones. Thank you for your feedback!

Workflow to limit agentic catalog from becoming agentic swamp

The Orchestrate Discover Agents catalog allows anyone to create and deploy agents.  You could have several agents that all do the same thing (or close to it.).   Can we use AI (or other logic) that when a user wants to create/publish a new agent, that a process kicks off to compare and surface similar agents, have the user click/acknowledge/get approval before then then proceed and create the new agent.

Original request:  Is there any capability in Orchestrate and/or wx.gov  (or something coming) that would workflow adding new agents (perhaps to a "production" agent catalog)?  Example given from client is you have 10 agents built that seems to do the same thing,  and now someone is trying to build the 11th similar agent ... instead of creating what we called an "agentic swamp" they'd like the ability to tell the user "there's other agents that seem to already do this and link to them,  maybe gives them a list of similar agents and have some button to click that says i've reviewed them but still need this new agent ...

Thank you for this great suggestion! We are currently investigating this problem, and this type of solution is certainly one of the considerations.
