Develop a Library of Pre-Built Enterprise Connectors

I have an exciting new idea, sparked by the actions that followed the remarkable success we achieved using IBM Orchestrate.

Develop a Library of Pre-Built Enterprise Connectors

The Idea: Offer a marketplace of no-code/low-code "actions" or "skills" for common enterprise systems like ServiceNow, Jira, SAP, Salesforce, and Outlook.

Why It Matters: Orchestrate excels at analysis, but the "last mile" of acting on that analysis often requires custom API development. The ability for an agent to not only recommend a control test but also automatically create a ticket in ServiceNow or assign a task in Microsoft Planner would close the loop and make the agent a true orchestrator of work, not just a recommender.

Let me explain further:

Right now, your AI agent is like a brilliant assistant who can analyze a problem and tell you exactly what needs to be done. But you still have to be the one to go into different computer programs (like email, your task manager, or your ticketing system) and actually do the work it recommends.

The Idea: Give the AI assistant a set of "magic buttons" for the programs your company already uses.

The "Magic Button" for Outlook would let it send an email for you.

The "Magic Button" for ServiceNow would let it create a support ticket automatically.

The "Magic Button" for Microsoft Planner would let it assign a task to a teammate.

A Simple Example:

Without the Connectors:

You ask: "What control needs testing first?"

The AI answers: "Control REV-001 is the highest priority. You should create a task for John in Microsoft Planner."

You have to open Microsoft Planner, create the task, assign it to John, and type in the details.

With the Connectors:

You ask: "What control needs testing first?"

The AI answers: "Control REV-001 is the highest priority. I have already created the task for John in Microsoft Planner and sent him a notification."

You see the result is already done.

Why This is a Game-Changer:

It turns your AI from a smart advisor into a true "doer" that can complete entire jobs from start to finish, all by itself. It closes the loop between finding a problem and fixing it.
