Create CCA MCP Server builder using workflows UI.

Banco do Brasil (BdB) is one of the world's largest Watson Assistant users and is actively migrating their customer-facing virtual assistant to watsonx Orchestrate (wxO) using the Customer Care Agent (CCA) model. Building CCA solutions today requires authoring a full MCP Server from scratch in Python — including widgets, control flow logic, variables, and multi-turn state management. This is a high engineering barrier that slows development and makes ongoing maintenance costly, especially for a bank managing hundreds of conversational flows across multiple product teams.

wxO already has a Workflow Builder with visual, low-code constructs (conditions, loops, variables, functions, message blocks) that map almost directly to what CCA flows need. The gap is that these two authoring paradigms are currently disconnected. The proposed path is to adapt the Workflow Builder to support a CCA authoring mode — allowing teams to visually compose flows and have compliant MCP Server logic generated automatically, without writing Python by hand.

This would give BdB and similar enterprise customers a scalable, low-code way to build, test, and maintain CCA flows using familiar tooling. It also lowers the migration barrier for the large base of Watson Assistant customers moving to wxO, removing the requirement for MCP and Python expertise as a prerequisite.
