Contractor and financier identification agent

Problem: Even for completed, publicized solar projects, the EPC contractor and financier are frequently unnamed in every public source — installer, investor, and deal structure for several 2018–2026 school projects could not be identified from any published record. This leaves procurement lessons and accountability trails incomplete. Idea: A watsonx Orchestrate sourcing agent that mines permits, utility interconnection queues, case studies, vendor portfolios, and press coverage to attribute contractors and financiers to announced projects, presenting each attribution with its evidence trail and confidence level — and clearly marking what cannot be attributed rather than inferring it. Value: Researchers and future buyers learn which contractors actually delivered; the public record gains evidence-backed attributions instead of permanent blanks.
