Project case-study fact-checker

Problem: Vendor and program case studies routinely publish impressive figures — one Colorado school project is cited as 495 kW, 1,458 modules, ~750,000 kWh in year one, $0 upfront, and 10,700 tons of CO2 avoided over 20 years — as organization claims without independent audit, and readers treat them as verified facts. Idea: A watsonx Orchestrate verification agent that ingests energy-project case studies, extracts every quantitative claim, and cross-checks each against engineering plausibility (capacity factor, insolation, module counts) and independent records, producing an annotated version: confirmed, plausible-but-unverified, or inconsistent — without ever declaring wrongdoing. Value: Readers get a truth-graded case study instead of marketing copy; honest programs get a credibility boost their claims can survive scrutiny.
