Childcare subsidy-contract status checker

Problem: A center advertised "free VPK" but its status as an approved VPK provider or School Readiness (subsidy) contractor could not be verified in public records — the Early Learning Coalition name search returned nothing and directories did not flag subsidy acceptance. Parents may enroll expecting subsidies the center cannot actually process.

Idea: A watsonx Orchestrate verification agent that checks a childcare provider's claimed subsidy and VPK participation against the coalition and state contract records in real time, so parents see confirmed participation status before enrolling — and providers get alerted when their marketing claims outrun their contract paperwork.

Value: Families avoid enrolling on the basis of subsidy promises the provider cannot fulfill; coalitions get early warning of providers advertising programs they are not contracted for.
