Shape the future of IBM watsonx Orchestrate

Start by searching and reviewing ideas others have posted, and add a comment (private if needed), vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you.

If you can't find what you are looking for, create a new idea:

  1. stick to one feature enhancement per idea

  2. add as much detail as possible, including use-case, examples & screenshots (put anything confidential in Hidden details field or a private comment)

  3. Explain business impact and timeline of project being affected

[For IBMers] Add customer/project name, details & timeline in Hidden details field or a private comment (only visible to you and the IBM product team).

This all helps to scope and prioritize your idea among many other good ones. Thank you for your feedback!

Prepare expenses report

Based on a schedule or started manually, connect to a list of websites and download the latest statement to a folder. The name of the folder would be the date when the automation started.
The access and navigation inside each website would have to be recorded previously (once per website), but once it is done, it would be great to share it with others so other companies using the same vendor can reuse them to automate the download.

If after downloading, we could automate sweeping inside the text of the statements to look for "Total", "Amount Due", etc.. and put that number in an Excel, It would be great. That will save me a lot of time (and money).

This specific functionality is not planned to be added natively but can be accomplished by building one or more RPA bots for those various sites/reports to import as custom skills in Watson Orchestrate.

We are considering to include RPA capabilities but IBM RPA or a 3rd party RPA vendor can be already used to automate the task that Watson Orchestrate can then orchestrate/invoke once the bots imported as custom skills : https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/watson-orchestrate?topic=building-skills
