Audit log of User/Builder/Admin’s activities

Background:

watsonx Orchestrate is used for accessing company’s essential records and performing enterprise's operations. For critical operations, recording of activities for auditing purpose is required.

Solution:

Examples of critical operations are listed below.


Activities on watsonx Orchestrate,

  • Login and logout,

  • Failure of login attempt,

  • Add/removal of users, user’s role changes,

  • Building of models in Automation Builder.


Activities on skills,

  • Upload or download, add or removal of file and attributes of that file, such as file name.

  • These may be tracked by external service connected from skill, but if there is capability of tracking them on watsonx Orchestrate, it is helpful for administrators.

    Need to view Watson Orchestrate logs for their security audit. They wanted to see the login and logout details of users, any files uploaded to any system through WO skills, box skills used and ip address of logged in user. We use the below filter to logs through Grafana for satisfying their requirement.

    login -> 'firstLogin' along with tenant id
    file upload -> 'uploaded' along with tenant id
    box upload -> 'Box' along with tenant id
    logout -> 'logout' along with tenant id

Include Activity Log

As a low code/ no code builder, I should be able to see a summary of who has modified tools, agents, created connections, etc. As a user/ admin, I should be able to quickly audit changes in the environment. This is important for shared environment...
