Expose watsonx Orchestrate non-interactive automations as a service

Our clients can do most of their work through watsonx Orchestrate Chat, interactively accomplishing their day-to-day tasks.

Sometimes, they need to re-use a logic created as watsonx Orchestrate Automation and would like to call that logic from an existing application as a REST service.

It seems that non-workflow automations are already exposed as a service. However, it is not possible to call them using the bearer access token - we need to pass the browser cookie(s) to call it.

Can you please enable exposing automation operation as REST services by authenticating with the bearer access token?

The Phase 1 of API layer to invoke decisions and Gen AI is planned to be live by end of July.

Here's another reason that we need endpoint access for GenAI and other payload driven (i.e. non-interactive) automations. If you are going to be able to Govern the LLM with watsonx.gov then you need something like the prompt template that wx.ai has or at least some programatic way to access the LLM.

Without governance integration then you are flying blind with GenAI inside an organization that is likely using it at the departmental level. THAT'S A GIANT RISK.
