usability of the new IBM Watson tts demo site

When we did the project "spaceships with opinions" the IBM Watson tts-demo site was a great help.

So I feel I have a responsibility to tell you how I think the new site is failing.

It works less well on several levels and is therefore probably not suitable for promoting the actually great voices.

1. First of all, I find it very unfortunate that you can no longer save the tested voices, although I can of course understand that you may not want these voices to be used without payment.

However, I think that a user-friendly interface is more likely to lead to more approval and more customers.

In any case, after using them, I had a strong urge to promote the high quality of those IBM voices.

2. The smooth reading no longer works.

Although there was still room for improvement in the last versions, they still had the ability to pause after the sentences.

The current voices simply read through and understand only one punctuation mark: the comma.

The point is read "dot" and without a break, it moves on to the next sentence.

The exclamation mark and the colon are completely ignored.

All of this doesn't make a really good impression and that's a shame, as the previous standard was much better.

It is of course nice to be able to change the speed or the pitch, but with the errors mentioned this should not be considered an improvement.

This time I tried the following sentences: "Let's see if you fixed that. Maybe you did."
And it read: "Let's see if you fixed that (dot) Maybe you did"

With my answering email I did send a video snippet. Not sure if you got that.

Frank -- could you please share a snippet of text where you found this issue? In English, the semicolon and the excalamation point both changed the output for me.
